Lola Aré

Southeast Michigan
Vistage Chair since 2016

“As a Vistage Chair, I defy the status quo. My members’ successes are of paramount importance to me and are what make me tick. I set the bar very high for myself and believe my members should too. Why am I different? I am a problem-solver and believe I need to help my members articulate what keeps them up at night and ultimately help them utilize the collective brain power of their peers to work through and resolve those issues. I just happen to provide them with the right environment to air and resolve their work and life issues and free up the path for them to move forward and positively impact their bottom line.”

As a Vistage Chair Lola’s priority is to facilitate a cohesive group of non-competing CEOs who will work together to resolve ongoing issues. She will lead them by letting them experience the power of their peers coupled with 1-1 accountability sessions to assist them further in proactively growing their businesses and attaining their work and life goals.

She brings 10 years of corporate brand management and marketing experience plus 22+ years of vast and varied business experience as a successful business mentor. Her strong relationship building, probing and problem-solving skills have been instrumental in helping CEOs attain their unique path to personal and business success.

Lola’s passion for helping CEOs began with her SMB consulting experience at Grant Thornton and led to progressive roles as an award winning Small Business Development Center consultant and Center Director/Supervisor for the Oakland County One Stop Business Center.

During her 5 year tenure at Oakland County she assembled 8+ groups of non-competing CEOs for their Venture Forward business growth series. CEOs came together weekly to learn tools to scale their businesses, work through and resolve ongoing business issues.
