In 2009, Dr. Holland joined Vistage Michigan as CEO, which enables him to interact with dynamic Chief Executives and their diverse organizations to achieve better leadership, decisions and results. He is responsible for vision and direction of the organization as well as continuing to increase the talent and teamwork at Vistage Michigan to enable the organization to achieve its overall impact for Michigan leaders. In addition, Dr. Holland continues to be the Chair for a Chief Executive, Key, and Trusted Advisor Groups within Vistage Michigan.
During the last 40 years, Dr. Holland has held the position of CEO at four different technology organizations, and has served the academic community as a Professor and Department Chairman for eight years. He has been the key developer of a number of information technology paradigms and numerous technologies and products used throughout the marketplace. He is currently Chairman of two Boards and serves on the Board of Directors of various organizations, including Busch’s, Inc., Computer Information Systems at EMU, and Convergent Systems Corporation.
Dr. Holland’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering, a Master of Science in Operations Research, and a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering. As a Department Chairman and full professor, Dr. Holland also introduced the first computer curriculum within a school of business in the country in 1971.
He has volumes of industry publications, numerous public appearances throughout the world, and many awards of recognition to his credit. In addition, Dr. Holland is most proud of his family consisting of his wife, four daughters, twelve grandchildren, and extended family.
